About
Scottish Committee of Optometrists (SCO) is a non-profit making organisation run by optometrists for optometrists. It is recognised by Optometry Scotland and the Scottish Executive as Scotland's Optometric training organisation for the country's 1100 plus practitioners and as such was commissioned to prepare and deliver the competency workshops.
Aim
SCO's aim is to improve the clinical skills of every optometrist in Scotland.
Members
SCO is made up of members from all the regions in Scotland, hospital optometrists, university and representatives from other affiliated organisations.
